Formulating Advanced Natural Color Cosmetics

 

MODULE 4 ADVANCED BLUSHERS, BRONZERS AND HIGHLIGHTERS

In Module 4 Advanced Blushers, Bronzers and Highlighters, you’ll learn to formulate bronzer, blusher and highlighter sticks; cream blusher, bronzer and highlighter; mousse blusher, bronzer and highlighter; and liquid blusher, bronzer and highlighter. We also give you pigment choices and how to adjust the formulas so that you can make the cosmetics suit your skin tone, color choice and preferences! 

We provide expertly created formulation examples for you to make first before you move on to formulating your own unique and gorgeous products. By following our detailed guidelines and templates, you’ll be creating your own professional standard advanced blusher, bronzer and highlighters in no time! We include a selection of demonstration videos to show you, step by step, how to make the more complex products and Preservative Efficacy Test reports that prove the formulations are preserved effectively.

Formulating Advanced Natural Color Cosmetics contains five modules: 

  • Module 1: Introduction to Formulating Advanced Color Cosmetics. 
  • Module 2: Advanced Lip Products. 
  • Module 3: Advanced Eye Makeup.
  • Module 4: Advanced Blushers, Bronzers and Highlighters. 
  • Module 5: Advanced Foundation and Concealer

When you complete both the Formulating Mineral Makeup and Formulating Advanced Natural Color Cosmetics courses you are eligible to receive our Diploma in Formulating Natural Makeup and Advanced Color Cosmetics.

Module 4 consists of five lessons:

4.1 INTRODUCTION TO FORMULATING ADVANCED BLUSHERS, BRONZERS AND HIGHLIGHTERS

In this lesson, we will cover:

  1. Product types, properties and functions.
  2. Storage and shelf-life.
  3. A brief note on example formulations.
  4. Pigment blends for blushers, bronzers and highlighters.

     

      4.2 FORMULATING BRONZER, BLUSHER AND HIGHLIGHTER STICKS

      In this lesson, we will cover:

       

      1. How to formulate bronzer, blusher and highlighter sticks.
      2. Examples on the market.
      3. Formulation template for bronzer, blusher and highlighter sticks.
      4. Formulation example for a bronzer stick.
      5. Adjusting the formula.

      4.3 FORMULATING CREAM BLUSH, BRONZER AND HIGHLIGHTER

      In this lesson, we will cover:

      1. How to formulate cream blush, bronzer and highlighter.
      2. Examples on the market.
      3. Formulation template for cream blush, bronzer and highlighter.
      4. Formulation example for cream blush.
      5. Adjusting the formula.
      6. Formulation example for cream blush – simplified version.

        4.4 FORMULATING MOUSSE BLUSH, BRONZER AND HIGHLIGHTER 

        In this lesson, we will cover:

        1. How to formulate mousse blush, bronzer and highlighter.
        2. Formulation template for mousse blush, bronzer and highlighter.
        3. Formulation example for mousse blush.
        4. Adjusting the formula.
        5. PET results.

          4.5 FORMULATING LIQUID BLUSHER, BRONZER AND HIGHLIGHTER

          In this lesson, we will cover:

          1. How to formulate liquid blusher, bronzer and highlighter.
          2. Examples on the market.
          3. Formulation template for liquid blusher, bronzer and highlighter.
          4. Formulation example for liquid highlighter.
          5. Adjusting the formula.
          6. PET results.

            THIS CLASS IS 100 CREDITS.
