FORMULATION OVERVIEW: Concentrated body/hand wash powder

Concentrated body and hand wash powder is a concentrated powder that the consumer mixes with water at home to become a liquid body and hand wash.

Powder concentrates are a new and innovative product that have a lighter environmental footprint and dramatically reduce the amount of packaging required as the product is mixed by the consumer in a reusable bottle.

The concentrated powder required to make an equivalent bottle of liquid body/hand wash is lighter and smaller than a product already containing water. This means that concentrated body/hand wash powder has a lower transportation cost and a smaller environmental impact than that of heavier, larger, water-containing products.

The powder itself has a long shelf-life (of around a year) as long as it is well protected from moisture. Once combined with water, the product does not need to be used immediately but rather can be stored in the bottle and used for several months.
