FORMULATION OVERVIEW: Micro Polish Exfoliating Face Wash

All skin types benefit from regular exfoliation. A micro polish contains micro exfoliants which are small, round and smooth to provide a gentle physical exfoliation. Our Micro Polish Exfoliating Face Wash is a surfactant-based formula that is dual function, providing both gentle cleansing and exfoliating properties to the skin.

Our product is inspired by REN Clean Skincare Micro Polish Cleanser, which we used as a benchmark, and features pineapple, papaya and Vitamin C in addition to our chosen exfoliant to refresh and smooth the skin.

In this class, we will share two formulation options: one using powdered surfactants and one using liquid surfactants (which are COSMOS-approved). Both formulas are effective at removing water soluble dirt and grime from the skin and are ideal for use in the morning or as a second cleanse in the evening after an oil-based cleanser or cleansing lotion has been used.
