MODULE 5: FORMULATING EMULSION-BASED AND GEL-CREAM SERUMS

In this next exciting module in the Advanced Certificate in High-Performance Serum Formulation, you will learn about the functions, benefits, properties and qualities of emulsion-based and gel-cream serums.

By the end of the module, you will be able to confidently identify appropriate ingredients to include in emulsion-based and gel-cream serums, use formulation templates to formulate emulsion-based and gel-cream serums and make a range of emulsion-based and gel-cream serums to add to your formulating skill set!

You must have completed Modules 0-2: Introduction and Serum Ingredients before enrolling on Module 5: Formulating Emulsion-based and Gel-cream Serums.

In module 5 we will teach you the theory behind formulating emulsion-based and gel-cream serums, before moving on to show you some formulation examples, including demonstration videos where you can watch our cosmetic scientists formulating some of the products featured in the module.

There is also a troubleshooting section to help you when you start to formulate your own emulsion-based and gel-cream serums.

Module 5 is split into two sections.
