MODULE 4: ADVANCED SOAPMAKING TECHNIQUES
Possibly the most exciting module in our Cold-process Soapmaking course so far, Module 4: Advanced Soapmaking Techniques, is guaranteed to take your beautiful handmade soaps to the next level.
In this module, you will go beyond your 'average' bar of soap and start making works of art to decorate your bathroom and gift to your friends and family. They will also make a gorgeous addition to any skincare range!
Throughout the module, we will walk you through the processes involved in using advanced ingredients in soapmaking such as salt and sugar, how to produce soaps in a whole rainbow of colours, piping techniques which will enable you to make cupcake soaps (they honestly look good enough to eat!) and how to make stunning lace soaps.

4.1 USING ADVANCED INGREDIENTS IN SOAPMAKING
In this lesson, we cover:
- Introduction to advanced ingredients in soapmaking.
- Making soap with milk.
- Making soap with sugar.
- Making soap with salt.
- Making soap with alcohol and alcoholic beverages.
4.2 COLORING SOAP
In this lesson, we cover:
- Coloring the soap.
- Synthetic dyes.
- Mineral pigments.
- Colored micas.
- Botanical colorants.
- Colorants used in oils.
- How to make herbal infused oil.
4.3 PIPING SOAP
In this lesson, we cover:
- The piping soap method.
- Piped soap recipe.
- How to make soap cupcakes.
4.4 LACE SOAP
In this lesson, we cover:
- The lace soap method.
THIS CLASS IS 50 CREDITS.
You must have completed Module 1: Soapmaking Theory and Module 2: Making Soap before enrolling on Module 4: Advanced Soapmaking Techniques.
